We have a new name!

The new name speaks more to the heart of our business: crafting not just skincare products, but ones that are all natural and so good for your skin.
After weeks of work (and a couple months with the idea floating in the back of my mind), I am excited to finally share this news with you all! I developed a new logo to go with the new name, which means all new labels and new photographs for every listing. This process will be a transition as I work on updating each product listing on the website as well as text.
Labels on products at the farmers market will transition to the new labels within the next month or so, while all online orders will be shipped with the new labels as soon as their photo listing displays the new label.

How did you come up with the name Niobrara in the first place? Does it have a meaning?
Good question, Ellen! The name is after a beautiful river in Nebraska, and “Niobrara” means “Wide-spreading water”. The river is right by where my ancestors settled when they immigrated to America, and my parents also happened to meet while canoeing on the river! So when we were coming up with a family farm name years ago, we chose “Niobrara” as it is where our family story began, and we liked the sound of it. When I began my business in 2013, I simply built off of the family farm name. And that’s the short story behind the name “Niobrara Naturals”!
